Douglas Fishburn, OAC (University of Guelph), RRO, GRP, has over 50 years of design and construction experience in the field of roofing and building envelope. He is past President of IIBEC (Ontario Chapter) and IIBEC Regional Director.  He has held positions on numerous IIBEC Committees, the Canadian General Standards Board (CGSB) and the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) committees, which develop standards for the roofing industry. Mr. Fishburn holds several Canadian and US patents in the area of roofing and building science.  Doug is passionate about about flying and loves a bird's-eye view - you can be sure he's got an eye on your roof!

Ashleigh Uiska, MSc. Arch, AOCAD, LEED AP, GRP, brings close to 20 years of industry experience, with a focus on innovation and sustainability.  She is a building science and green infrastructure specialist, with an interest in reducing the environmental impacts of construction materials. She holds a Masters of Science from the Center for Alternative Technology at the University of East London and is an Environmental Design Associate of the Ontario College of Art and Design.  Ashleigh believes durability is a tenet of sustainability and will work hard to ensure your building is at its best. 

Boyan Ivanov, MAT, BSc, has over 15 years of experience in laboratory and materials research, specializing in testing roofing membranes, shingles and other roofing materials. Boyan has been with Global Lab since 2016, working previously for GAF Materials Corporation as a chemist. He holds a Masters of Arts in Teaching and a Bachelor of Science degree (major: Chemistry; minor: Biology) from Southern Arkansas University. Previously, Boyan taught chemistry and biology to secondary school students.
